Seasonal experiences in Sicily - From grape to pistachio of Bronte
Support the Open Sicily Cultural Association by participating in our daily events.
Experience Authentic Sicily by participating in our seasonal experiential tours, just a few kilometers from Taormina. We are often asked for experiences that involve harvesting grapes and their subsequent processing. Precisely for this reason we have thought of seasonal experiences that involve the collection of typical Sicilian products.
The experiences will take place in our territories of belonging between Taormina and Catania.
Experiences in farms in Sicily
How the event will take place:
The experience will take place in the surroundings of Taormina. We will set a meeting point based on the chosen experience (if the guest is not picked up at the hotel).
From here we will reach the farm where we will carry out the harvesting experience, you can choose according to the period between:
- Grape harvest
- Olive harvest
- Collection of Bronte Pistachio
- Collecting Chestnuts on Etna
Beyond the harvest that will begin in the morning, we will continue the day following the various processing steps of the product, the pressing as regards the harvest, the milling as regards the oil, etc ...
All collections will include the traditional farmer's breakfast and lunch.
